SSNOC CONGRATULATES HON. ATONG KUOL MANYANG ON APPOINTMENT AS MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORTS

The South Sudan National Olympic Committee (SSNOC) warmly congratulates Hon. Atong Kuol Manyang on her appointment as Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of South Sudan, following her recent appointment by H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

SSNOC looks forward to working closely with Hon. Atong Kuol and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to further strengthen cooperation and advance the shared mandate of developing sport in South Sudan. Recent engagements by the Minister have emphasised stronger coordination with sporting federations, youth development, infrastructure growth, and expanded opportunities for athletes—priorities that align with the vision of the Olympic Movement in South Sudan.

The partnership between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and SSNOC remains vital in creating pathways for athletes, supporting national federations, strengthening sports governance, and ensuring sport continues serving as a vehicle for opportunity and national development.
